hello me again,

i thought i would check the fuel pressure today and when i pluged the pressure gauge into the cold start injecter pipe then fired her up, the gauge needle would not settle, it was jumping about a lot so it was very hard to get a true reading,

the last time i set the fuel pressure it was before the top end engine work was done, and the needle was nice and steady very easy to read,

any ideas why it is jumping around like a mad thing

y i gave Mr RT racing a ring today and he said it could well be the cam causing it
he recommend setting the pressure up with the igition
and pump on,
but i will try what you said Danny and see if the pressure gauge does the same thing with the standed regulator

thanks

tony
