You're prob in need of updated codecs or player. I'm on v9 of media player and it's lovely, loud and rumbly, although a little soggy looking

That was some of the most scary driving I've done in ages, the roads were like ice. Absolutely no way I could use full travel be used on the throttle.

Goddammitt.

I'm perfectly happy with my humble 280 until I watch stuff like that. Now, where's the cheque book..?

Aye, having seen not 1 but 3 SEAC's bought this year I am now firmly set on one.

Any chance of a "dry run" video with proper sound?

You've got one, you don't need videos

If you must though. Depends what versions of WMPlayer you got, for 8 or 9 try www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx

There's always the Mania sprint at Duxford from the same producers that brought you Soggy SEAC That features 3 wedges trundling up a runway a few times....

Ah yes I have that one saved at home Is that camera car a Griff 500? Just wondered as it seems to breeze alongside the SEAC - is the 500 really that much quicker thru the higher gears?

What are the chances of 3 bloody SEACs being sold - ALL to pistonheaders - in the space of 6 months though That's probably 20% of the remaining stock!

Ah well, no doubt by the time I can afford one the current owners will be bored and want to sell....

Two reasons for that impression....
First, in the solo run I missed third gear by rushing the change giving Dan a huge edge; in the trio run Dan was pushing hard all the way.
Second, I went to the rolling road after Duxford and my SEAC was only pushing out 205bhp at the wheels. Turned out my cam was completely knackered, one of the lobes was so worn I could nearly get my little finger betwwen the top of the lobe and the height it was supposed to have been.

Now I've replaced the cam, Griff 500s are only marginally faster then my SEAC but I've got now something strangling my high revs (which happens to be my big power band). When I get this sorted out I reckon there will nothing in it.

Uh oh -- I think I'll be the one bringing up the rear if the SEAC run is repeated -- my SEAC could keep with a Griff until I changed to 5th, then he went past me.
The new Tuscans are in a different league though -- coming back from Le Mans 2000 I tried (foolishly) to keep up with one -- he floored it and I thought for a moment I was in reverse -- even though I had 500cc more than him -- he really did leave me for dead.
