and Richard showed me my perished bushes. I now know which ones are the 'compliance' busshes, as well...they're the ones on the chassis ends of the track rod.
Also, the rear wheel bearings/UJs were gone. I could get hold of the wheels and wobble them quite easily.
So, hopefully everything can be done by next week, and I should loose my creaks and clunks.

The cars back, and it turns in to corners ever so delightfully. sadly caught behind a string of 30mphers on the snake on the way back...and wanted to see if I could go as fast as perhaps even the speed limit...
However, I have a very sqeaky rear wheel on the drivers side. It was fine in Sheffield (of course), but by the time I arrived in Glossop, I was noticing a strange noise, as I caught reflected sound of buildings as I passed. Some listening, and I noticed it comes in grdually at about 15-20mph, and stays pretty constant all the way up to...oh...about 70.

So, I recon I'll see how it goes in the morning, and if it stays put, I might need to call Richard again...I just hope its some kind of bedding in thing.

Still after speaking to Ren Dao today, I'm thinnig myself blo*dy lucky that this is all I have to worry about. Pop over to the 'S' forum, you'll see what I mean...

10/10 for RT Racing!

Richard called me first thing this morning with a couple of suggestions for my squeak...but it wan't there this morning, so lets hope it was just some dust in the brakes or something.

Having possibly cast a little grey cloud over some peoples perception of my experience with RT, let me just say that I have always received extremely courteous and efficient service from them, and I know that if there is a constinuing squeak, then they will certaily be more than happy to sort it. In short, I will most definately be going back to them in the future.
