Sorry, 4 hour trip through Wales in a van. See word, not understand etc (but hen thats normal for me). I thought there were led replacement, potted and loaded ready to go available for cars?

Indicator warning lights hide behing steering wheel.
Flasher relay too quiet to hear.
Auto cancel only worked 75% of time.
Had to be very careful not to leave the damn things on accidentally!
Was this a design feature or was it just my car?

You can buy replacment "bulbs" which fit in the standard holders but actually contain a load of LEDs.

As for the legality - there are definately some new cars on the roads using LEDs
