Should I or shouldn't I?
Has anyone fitted after market wheels to their wedge?
It sees to be 'not the done thing', but surely it can't be too bad, if you don't go mad.
I'm aware of the trouble with offsets, body clearance (I already have a nice hole in my offside arch from my OZ's). Given I can can get around/live with these issues, what d'you reckon?
I was thinking about 17 inch or so...

I bought the 16" OZ's off Wedge Pages which were off a Merc. They look identical to the 400 style wheels but the offset is well out and thus needs 10mm spacers and new wheel studs to be fitted; a real PIA - thus take care. I have some 17 x 8.5 AZEV's on the 420 which have the correct offset and as a purist I think they don't suit the car and plan to fit the 16's, above BUT everyone else who sees the car sais the AZEV wheels really look the part.

I have a set of 17" Borbet's on my 350i. Ilike the look and the handling seems ok. Tramlines a bit in the wet but i have'nt driven enough other wedges to know if this is any worse or not. I have had no bodywork clearance problems.
