Duncan, sorry about the brakes, but at least no harm done!
Same thing happened to me a while back, pedal to the floor 5 minutes after exiting the M5
Thankfully i was only crawling at the time!

Sorry to hear of your woes Duncan - hope it's an easy fix (let us all know what the cause was and solution).
Exhaust looks (early diagnosis - dangerous!) like the clamps just come loose. On blat it wasn't louder it just sounded like a tractor when idling.
Next years meet - Big gazebo, barbie (food not girl), etc - make it a bigger social?? Mind hope they have shorter start intervals on the sprint next year!

Sounds like a great day. Gutted that I missed it. Will definitely come to next years, and will put it in my diary asap. Looking at the pics, it will take me till then to get my 350 anywhere near the quality of those on show. You've got some great cars. I'm off to buy some Mer and get to work on the shine.

ps. I've always found Britannia the best for breakdowns. Prompt, efficient and technically knowlegeable. I'm told the only way to get good service with the AA is to have the wife's name on the contract and for her to make the call saying she is on her own!?!?!

AA update ! Although I got a 'sorry' that was it. They haven't heard the last of me yet. No update on the car yet. Its at V8 developments at present, although Ray didn't think there was any serious damage. He believes it to be a stuck relief valve ?
Heres hoping he's right.

Finally managed to get online - just a note to say great to meet up with all the wedge owners.. sorry to hear about your troubles Nacnud, Ian and Jeff, hopefully all be sorted v. soon - was a fantastic day - shame about the staggered start on the sprint but worth it for a quick blat. Would agree with you Tas over AM400s white number - very smart indeed. Hope to catch you all and more at the next one..
