My 400 interior is cream with wood, but with a black steering wheel. I'd like to replace it with a wood and chrome one like lots of the other wedges had at mania, but cant find anywhere that can supply me one. Does anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket alternative or does anyone have one they want to sell ?

The Woodrim steering wheel was a factory option at the time, you could see if they have any left there.
Failing that Demon Tweeks do a large range of after market steering wheels and have a few nice woodrim ones.

Momo do lots of options.

For your information, my 350i had a pretty woodrimmed wheel on it when I got it. I'm not sure if it was because of the extra load put on it due to no PAS, but the wood had cracked, and been reglued prior to my ownership. The end result was a wheel that gave you an uneasy feeling whenever you turned it... I decided that a Momo Race wheel with nice black leather, was a better bet.

Still have a wooden knob though....

My car was previously owned by A. Fatt-B'stard. He replaced the standard wheel with an OMP item that has a flat 'bottom' to clear his belly/ chins. It actually is quite useful in aiding entry to, and exit from the car for us less heftily-built types as well!

Hi guys. Recently rejoined the TVR fold and am now the very proud owner of a (rare in my experience)cooper green 400SE.

It came with a Momo wooden and polished wheel and gear nob which looks the dogs nadgers, and has a great feel!

Me neither

Dave - The wheel on my 400 was from the factory only a year or so ago - it is the same as fitted to the Griffith and made by Nardi if that helps - only needed slightly longer bolts (leven) to put on - also looks fab with the additional alloy centre cover around the horn push.

Nick, you are positively waif-supermodel-like in comparison. I'm not saying this guy was big, but wherever he sat, he was sat next to you. He had to have the driver's seat frame welded twice 'cos he broke it.

However, maybe you should eat fewer pies...
