Hi!

My 1987 280i has just lost its power steering!
The return hose for the pump is corroded, I
think it may be of a ford granada but im not to
sure. Does anyone know what it is? Or what else
I can use instead!

The rack could be one of several, but my '87 390SE has a Ford rack (there's a Ford logo on the left-hand seal housing).
The pummp is a Rover/BL item, there are several that will do the job, the main difference being the length of the filler neck. Think SD1, Maestro, Montego and you won't go far wrong!
Someone like Pirtek could probably make you a new hose.
