Tasmin possibly going
Discussion
Rev - I thought Mrs Rev had said you didn't wear any pants, that's why you were always cleaning your seats.
Gavin - I fully expect as soon as you see the SEAC you'll have a permanent grin and you won't sleep tonight either. Don't forget your deposit. Have a good look at the body, there are a few cracks, blemishes, etc, but Steve was very honest about the whole car in general. And I want to see lots of smilies on here by 10:30 at the latest.
Cheers, al.

Well the car was spot on. So subject to selling the Tasmin I will be buying the beast.
What a noise!!!

Great news Gavin !
Having only owned a SEAC I can't tell you the differences between the breeds -- but one thing is for certain -- it'll damage your hearing ! I'm now addicted to the sound of Wedgie V8's
Oh yea, and the fact the rear spoiler doubles as a picnic table when you get to Le Mans
Look forward to seeing it
Gavin - borrow the money from family friends / bank..
Cahoot is good - they don't charge a penalty if you repay early..

To be honest - they is not really much difference between a 400/ 450 model and a SEAC.
Only body shape.
Perhaps you should have considered the change but as you have invested a lot in yours - you might as well enjoy it for a good few years.
Rev ,
Have to disagree on that one , although this may be limted to our cars .
MrsH's 400 ( A hot wire with Tornado and ACT bits ) has shed loads of torque , and even though the suspension is well sorted , it feels like a tank compared with the SEAC .
The SEAC is a screaming beast and infinately more
" Chuckable"
MrsH drove in the SEAC today and she is of the same opinion .
All in our humble opinion of course .
....... and whatever , they're all BBW's

No problem to disagree - it's a discussion forum after all...
I had my 400SE nearly 4 year's ago and a Griff 500 for the 3 year's in between - so I don't really have your cars for back to back experiences.
But to put aside 'SEAC' eliteism - it all really depends on engine and suspension spec.
On paper the 2 car's are really close - weight distribution is not really not much different.
They are all BBW's and really very close in the real world.
Stuff the same spec 4.6 and Avo's on both and they would probably feel identicle !

Personal opinion here but a car is not sold until someone stumps up the readies...
If you want to buy something unusual then you need cash in the bank - as buyers sell to the first person who offers the right price.
Anyway Tim (ACT) hinted that another pretty special SEAC would be along soon .. I now know who's it is and I'm not telling but it is pretty special.

True, but maybe he gave a deposit to tide him over for a quick sale of the Tas or until pops stumps up a daddy-loan?? Here's hoping!
BTW you're such a tease!
Hope it's not yours coming next, you have said you get bored after a while and I have noticed you've not used it lately (cough, 8th Feb) Could Austec just be a smoke screen?
Where are you Gav, what's appenin'?
