Wheels alone, Renowheel 01656 657993 in Bridgend is best,
For bumper and wheels I would recommend Good as New, 01446 792266 who are near to Llandow Racetrack.
Hope that this is of some help!

Would prefer one location for both. If I was splitting it then I'd go with APS for the wheels. Heard variable reports on Renowheel.

Personally I would split the jobs, most bodyshops won't have the facilities to do the wheels properly, i.e. sand blasting/chemical strip, then fill any damage etc, the prep stage that can make a massive difference to the overall finish. I spent a few hours at The Wheel Specialist in Cwmbran the other week, http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/ and was very impressed with the results they can achieve. Going further west it would be Afan Tyres in Port Talbot http://www.alloy-wheels-wales.co.uk/ I know of several people who are more than happy with their results. The Wheel Specialist offer a same day service whilst Afan Tyres usually turn things around in 24 hours.

Motorvation are very good, many on here have had top results from Al at http://www.alsaautomotive.co.uk/

I don't want the wheels stripped to bare metal and I don't want them powder coated. Just painted please smile

ALS sounds like a good option but am I right in thinking that they are now booking for September 2012?

I'll pop into Motorvation when I get a chance and take it from there.

Davies Motor Company used to do Aston. Has this changed?

Just checked with the main dealer and it's still currently Davies Motor Company.

If it was just paintwork then I'd be happy using Sean as I have for quite a few years. Just don't think wheel refurbs are his forte!

I'm going to take it in to Motorvation Monday for a quote. Depending on how that goes I'll give your guy a call. Does he do wheel refurbishment in house? My wheels aren't badly marked.

I had my Integrale alloy done at Renowheel a few years ago and while I accept they're probably not the easiest wheels to refurb, I wasn't overly impressed with them. it wasn't in a particularly bad way to start with but the the paint match wasn't very good. May have just been a one off but I didn't get what I hoped for.

Know where you're coming from. My experience of them has never been that good. Lots of people use them so maybe it's down to luck?!!

Good as New is owned by my partners Brother, we bought a repaired Puma from him and he has done work on a few of my cars, his work is to a high standard.

Popped into Motorvation on Monday for a quote. Have to say, it wasn't exactly great value! Called into Davies Motor Company this morning (they have done most my bits and bobs in the past), and was quoted VERY competitively. As well as still being Aston and Bentley approved they are now approved for the Nissan GTR. My only concern was with the wheel refurb (just the front two), but Sean assures me they won't be a problem.

It's booked in for the 9th Jan so I'll report back soon after smile
