Hi sam, not sure it is happening this weekend due to covid etc but in normal times it is the last Sunday of the month from about 9.30 am in the car park of the big bits cafe, cross hands I don’t know who organises it but it is very laid back - just park up and have coffee

Enjoyed the day and chatting to lots of you smile

Cant believe its been 11 months here since the last meet. I suggest you and me get together and sort something Irfan - we can call the group '2 Lidl 2 Late' biggrin? Have arranged a few trips for groups in the past in Spain/NC500 etc. Something that starts a bit earlier so people can still get home for Sunday lunch or we can have a lunch together as the last thing of the day for those that can stay?

I only took 4 cr@p shots as I was yacking too much and looking at hot V's etc LOL! Our stunning Wales mind!

Some nice pics Dewi, and nice to meet you and the others on Sunday.

Yes im happy to assist in arranging a South Wales PH Brecon run. The route we did was a bit long but broken up with the various stops to take in the scenery and have a chinwag was fine really. I think we all parted ways when we stopped at the burger van on the Horseshoe bend car park. I noticed a lot of us where from the A470 belt / Cardiff, so it might be better to actually start at the Horseshoe and then drive into Brecon / Black Mountains and finish in Neath instead.

Seen as we haven't had any runs at all this year and Christmas is near, Lets get something pencilled in for the run up to Xmas on a Sunday, Weather permitting and assuming enough are up for it?

Irfan

I’m
Up for it - the more stops the better for me and I don’t tend to go for too long runs !

Only 3 of us at cross hands this morning - followed Ian up the m4 in his 488 spider with new novitech race exhaust - what a noise ! Like driving behind a formula 1 car !

Sorry I missed the Cross Hands meet. Couldn't make it unfortunately.

Did manage to go for a great drive across the Beacons though. Beautiful inversions in the valleys and some decent cars out and about.

I would be up for a Brecon run before Xmas.

Not sure what the latest coronavirus rules are - I understand we don’t have to stay local - are we allowed to meet up in car parks yet ?

Isn't it something along the lines of people from two different households only?

Do you think we’ll have one the end of this month or does that require a rule change ?

I imagine April won’t be a go, but end of May might be OK as we’ll be out of tier 4 by that point

A couple of friends and I are trying to start a car related meet on the first Wednesday of each month in North Cardiff at the Ty Mawr pub (CF14 0UF) from 7 pm. https://www.sabrainpubs.com/tymawr

There are a lot of interesting cars around Lisvane so hopefully will attract some lovely cars.

The landlord is aware and has offered an indoor large space for people to congregate (safely) if the weather isn't good.

The landlord took over two weeks before Covid struck so deserves a break and needs all the help he can get so if you can come along and bring a classic or something interesting or just for a look, please do.

Hope to see some of you there. Wednesday 2nd June 7PM onwards.

That’s awesome - a midweek evening event is a fantastic idea - people from swansea welcome too ? ?

Do you know if they will be doing food there - even take away ? Be good to support them in whatever way we can - stuffing my face is always one of the most mutually beneficial
