Spotted In South Wales (Vol 3)
Discussion
Hey all,
Thanks for the suggestions on where to spot around Cardiff when I asked a few weeks back. I'm stuck in England at the minute because I came home from uni at Christmas but fingers crossed I can come back soon and try and spot some cool stuff.
I'm a member of a website called https://exclusivecarregistry.com which keeps tabs on the super rare exotic cars around the world. I noticed Wales was looking underrated despite collectors like Mark Bailey being here.
I've done a bit of work trying to get things more accurate, but I thought I would come to you guys who know the area best for more help. If you know any cars that fit the bill (it lists the models on the website), specs, chassis numbers, whereabouts they are and details like that it would be greatly appreciated. We can all know what to look out for then as well!
It's also a great way to keep a list of the cars you've seen and I'm always intrigued seeing the history behind some of these cars that come up on the website.
Thanks in advance!

I live in Cardiff, but Swansea/Mumbles often has the best exotica spotted if this thread is anything to go by. When the weather improves you will see some nice metal around the city centre, Cardiff Bay, Penarth Marina or Penarth seafront. There are often some nice cars floating about the more upmarket residential areas; Cyncoed, Lisvane, Penarth etc.
HTH.

Yeah. Had a look through the chat and it does look like Swansea area is the place to be. Definitely going to make a few trips there when we can again. I saw a few bits around Cardiff when I was there. Visited Specialist Cars and saw an SVJ. Seen a few McLarens, Lambos etc. Porsche Cardiff always has some nice bits in too. But yeah, looking forward to seeing what else South Wales has to offer. When the weather improves you will see some nice metal around the city centre, Cardiff Bay, Penarth Marina or Penarth seafront. Cowbridge also has its fair share of exotica which can often been seen on the High Street once the weather improves.
Cheers mate! Will have to have a look around there too. Stuck in Cardiff for the whole time I've been at uni so far so would love to see what else is around.Owner has a new 911 too in dark grey. Used to have a cayman in guards and a cayenne coupe. The 992 is parked where the pic was taken, presume the 912 is garages nearby
49GE is currently on a dark grey Pista and been spotted a couple of times on mumbles road in recent weeks (no pic sorry). Mr TCW is currently driving a Defender 110 Heritage edition which looks suitable for the weather down here (mainly salt and sand mix on mumbles road!)

Was 49GE the Pista that was, erm, cruising down Mumbles Road with a red 812 Superfast in the last couple of months? 49GE is currently on a dark grey Pista and been spotted a couple of times on mumbles road in recent weeks (no pic sorry).
