My fav was the old celica ST that was parked in the Waitrose car park
The black one? Yes it was lovely, hell of a noise as well. Some amazing cars today, not sure I was in the same league.
I live just outside Cowbridge, so am in town most days and I can’t remember such a good vibe in town - big thank you to the organisers and everybody who turned up with their pride and joys.
Have some pics of my Celica, but not from today.
Hope the images work.
Thank you for the compliment.
It’s just a 3.5 Rover V8.
Mild tune - carb, cam, headers, decent ignition etc.
Never been near a dyno so not sure what it makes.
It goes OK in the Celica which is only 1000Kg........and it makes a nice noise.
I built the engine (and car) 20 years ago and it has only left me stranded once, so a lot to be said for simple stuff you can fix on the side of the road.

Coffee and cars in Cowbridge was an excellent meet. Spread out across the town centre. The main road and the car parks were full of interesting cars. Great to have a coffee and watch some cars drive up and down the main road also.
And the variety was excellent, something for everyone really. My kids happened to fairly close to an RS6 when it started up in Waitrose car park. I don't know what exhaust it had fitted but they jumped about a mile

We had a chat then, I had the NC MX5, guy I was with had the Lada. We came in convoy with the 280Z and GT86.As always Cowbridge was a great show, one of the best turn outs this year. A fantastic mix of cars with, surely, something for everyone. I ended up taking about 250 photos
