Hi fella, if I had known you were there I would have tracked you down. What were you driving today? I remember you had the RS4 then I think you went GTR, is that right?? Its been a while to be honest.....
Good memory Ian (right??!) was in a blue M3, and you?Evil.soup said:
Gutted for the guy, had a chat to him about the RS in Builth Wells and he seemed to have put a lot of time and money into it. It was a bit of a blast from the past for me as my first hot hatch was an XR2i.
don't be for him, somehow there was no damage to his screen, the same couldn't be said for the bird, yes he has done a lot of work on it, was in a sorry state when he got it, it don't half shift for what it is either.....Muskycf14 said:

Ah well thats good. There must be something about Fiesta's because a pigeon did the same thing to my XR when I had it, it was mainly just feathers left behind! What a great day out. Thanks to everyone who came. We managed to keep a lot of cars with us to the end this time and there should be some great pictures appearing soon.
Hope no-one got caught out by the scamera van. Matt did his best to set up a warning station
The only downside to the day was the ridiculous behaviour by the guy that owns the burger wagon at Horseshoe Bend who told us to take our cars and F-Off. Charming, but I've been abused by better men than him so it didn't put a downer on the day.
Sorry to hear about the stone chips (and the kamikaze bird!!) It's always a danger when you are heading over the mountain roads at a pace. As has been said, leave a gap and it becomes less of an issue, but don't think you can ever totally avoid the risk of it unfortunately.
Didn't see PC Plod on the list
Few pics to show the variety of cars.

Missed a great day, Steve. TVR were under represented today! Was hoping to see your Son's turbo'd MX5 too!
Hi Rickyy, oh his MX5 has been hit and is in the paint shop at Llandow, swines drove off and didn`t leave a note, it happened on West Camp married quarters. He`s ordering a turbo repair kit, the turbo has a bit of play in the core, a simple fix.steve j said:

Its difficult to see in this photo, but Plod's Ford Focus was totally slammed to the deck and had an awesome sound system! Apparently they do a lot of drifting events.Diesel, lovely photos as always. Your right David's car comes up really when dried off with a brilo pad and a quick once over the wheels with a wire brush
Shame I could only make the services this morning looks like a great day out

That was strange wasn't it - pesky public with their cars in a public car park buying his coffee! Looking serious grumpy daggers at everyone when we vacated "his property" too. Here he is I think: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Terrys-Burger-Van-B...

I drove home that way, leaving after the Builth Wells stop and the parking area was completely flooded with motorbikes (I'm assuming an equivalent to what we were all doing). Mr Burger van man seems to have no qualms with them at all, which was rather frustrating.Still. It didn't spoil an excellent day.

totally agree, my car also took a hammering, but like you say, they are for driving
Oh, there was also 1 fatality today, my mate in the Fiesta RS 1800 had a Large Bird fly into his windscreen @ approx 70mph, driver behind said it was a Pheasant and launched 40ft up in a cloud of feathers,
Couldn't stop laughing at the time and it's made me chuckle again, good to meet yourself and the fiesta driver, thoroughly enjoyed being a passenger to take in the great route! Your MK1 looks the bks and his fiesta goes REALLY well. Shoutout to the organisers as I thought it was well mapped out with good folk in attendance.Oh, there was also 1 fatality today, my mate in the Fiesta RS 1800 had a Large Bird fly into his windscreen @ approx 70mph, driver behind said it was a Pheasant and launched 40ft up in a cloud of feathers,
