Hi Guys,
Hoping for some advice please. I have a 2006 V8 Vantage that had a new clutch fitted a few months prior to my purchasing it. I've noticed a frustrating issue. When driving 'normally' no issues at all epart for quite a low bite point (which I'm told is common with a new clutch?). However when I'm driving hard, when I dip the clutch, 'blip' the throttle and attempt to change down, sometimes I am unable to put the car into gear and the clutch peddle remains on the floor. I have to lift the pedal with my foot and try again, which then works. This only happens when driving hard. This occasionally happens on changing up but only the 'tight' gear-select issue
Could this be water in the clutch fluid, a slave cylinder or main cyclinder issue or something else?

Also if it it just a fluid issue is there a garage local to Cardiff/Newport which you guys would recommend?

Thanks for any input.

Sounds like a master cylinder issue possibly.

I've used Indigo-GT in Tredegar for a good few years. Don't be put off by the fact that their website is predominately fast Jap focussed, They have looked after my Cayman S and R8 very efficiently.
