I used 'AC Garage Doors' for 2 x 8ft insulated garadors with electric (fitted) about 4 years ago and can't recommend enough. Andrew was incredibly competitive on price and provided great customers service. I am in the Pontypridd area and Andrew is in Swansea, I never stepped foot in the showroom as I knew what I wanted :-)
Didn't have a great experience with "The Garage Door Centre" in Cardiff. The guy who came out to do a quote didn't want to be there, gave me a ridiculous price, and answering my questions appeared to be an inconvenience.
I'd say, go to The Garage Door Centre to get a feel for what you want, get a quote, then go to AC :-)

Holy thread bump (thought this was better than starting a new thread)!
Looking to get an electric roller shutter door installed to replace the standard up and over one fitted currently.
Has anyone had one fitted in the last couple of years and have any further recommendations on top of those already contributed? I'm based in Talbot Green (Llantrisant).

I'm in the Swansea area. I had a double width garage door installed by John Glen Garage Doors in 2011 and had excellent service from them. I had to get them to come out earlier this year (pre-Covid) to get new fobs and get them reprogrammed as my wife had lost one of the existing ones but she didn't know whether it was local or somewhere else so rather than take the risk of it being local, I had them all reprogrammed and had it serviced at the same time (Looking to get an electric roller shutter door installed to replace the standard up and over one fitted currently.

).AC Garage Doors were mentioned above as being decent - all I know is that he learned his trade at John Glen. I can't say any more than that as he never got back to me for a quote despite chasing him repeatedly....
