Hello

My BMW has not reached the age where I am considering going to a indie. BWM FSH so far.

Was wondering if anyone had recommendations in Chepstow area?

Think main dealer prices are getting crazy

EDIT :
Just found Forza in Caldicot - seem to have good reviews

Stuart at Forza looked after my M3.
I would use them again if/when I own a BMW again.
Autotech in Caerleon, Newport, Tony knows his stuff, another thumbs up...

I dropped in to see Stuart a couple of times when he was in Chepstow and he was always super busy. I've not seen him since he's moved to Caldicot though. But he always had work lined up and has a great reputation.

Stuart really knows his stuff. Its really difficult to talk to him though to pick brains and see what solution he would offer above just 'bookinmg it in' and learning how he would approach something. Its no better than a main dealer 'component changer' in that respect and that is a little something Indies usually have over a main dealer with us enthusiasts. I guess its because he gained a good rep in years where he was less busy... But fear not the quality and knowledge and better rates than stealers smile

Another +1 for Forza, they did some work on the vanos system on my old M5, when I priced the parts they changed with BMW it was more expensive than what I paid Forza to diagnose the fault and do the work. Speaking to Stu after it seems that he REALLY knows his stuff when it comes to BMW's.

I found quite the opposite, he spent nearly half an hour talking to me a year or so ago about a problem I had with my 330D, didn’t hesitate to book it in and drive up from Taunton to get him to sort out what my own local indie messed up.
Now I’m back in a bmw i’ll be using him again.
