Hi.
I’ll be hiring a caterham next month (won a comp) so I’m working out the best roads to take back from bristol to swansea across the Beacons. I know the A4069, what other roads would say would be good to add to a route?
Thanks
Sam

B4520 between Brecon and Builth is fantastic and usually pretty quiet.

We often meet up last Sunday morning of the month in cross hands - so if you are out and about the last Sunday of may drop by and bring the caterham - not far from the Brecon roads - just a thought

St Owen's Cross to Abergavenny is lovely after you cross the A466.

I would do Brecon to Builth through Upper Chapel both ways as it is a very nice road as previously commented. An alternative is to head west from Builth Wells to Garth and then come back up to Upper Chapel via the B4519.

Road from Llangadog on the approach to the 'famous' hairpin on the A4069 is a lovely tight technical bit that can be enjoyed at moderate speed.
