Well pics are a little blury as the thickness of the clouds was effecting my cameras shutter speed, but a few decent ones came from it.

Nice to meet you guys, although I'm a bit gutted nobody posted shots of my car. Maybe I'll clean her next time and she'll get some more attention.

Catch you all again soon.

Neil - you home already?!!!! Glad you enjoyed that road. believe me there are loads that are miles better and that's where the VX will shine. I've managed to change my pants now, getting whell spin in second gear with a 100 ft drop to your right is not a nice feeling!!!!!

Good to meet everyone, my first Pistonhead run. Looking forward to many more, hopefully get the karting at Llandow sorted. last time we went it was £30 each for a 70 min endurance and it was great fun.

Twas just a pootle home, was on t' hands free most of the way home so was a 70 cruise...

I live on the edge of Brissle, so not too bad a journey. Was very good fun and nearly turned back for another run! I am most definitley up for another jaunt - you must all let me know when you go out next - as Matt and Adam know I'm not afraid of a greasy bend so anytime is good! I'll arrange for the Brissle boys to come and play too!

Keep me posted on the Karting too!

Was great to put faces to the IDs I see popping up in the South Wales section although I have to confess, I'm bloody useless at remembering names!

Was good to see such a turn-out today. I was pleased to see so many managed to meet at Cardiff Gate - I had visions of being one of two turning up!

Good to see the various cars, always enjoy meetings like this.

Thoroughly enjoyed the run up to Brecon and the stops along the way. Road conditions were a bit on the scarey side as was evident when I nearly did a 360 spin on the exit from the services and felt the Atom drift exiting many of the quick roundabouts.

Glad everyone made it home safely and thanks for the oportunity to join you.

Later

John

PS I posted some pictures on the Atom forum here http://forum.atomclub.com/index.php?topic=747.0

Stunning photos. Wish I could have made it but I was hard at work twiddling my fingers.

Mind you, I will be sending a summons to this chap for having a defective rear light:

Yep, as expected, STUNNING photo's.....just shows the difference between someone who knows what they're doing, and us "happy snappers"!!

Great turn out, just wish I'd been there!

Impressed to see the Pug leading both the Atom and the NSX........

Lusifer - I think that "defective light" is the indicator....any news on the baby front??

Yeah thats my Indicator in the Pic there, the Roundabout ahead and the fact the other two are indicating is another clue sorry a bit sarcy there.

Any way I agree there is a huge difference between someone who knows wot their doing and some 1 who does when it comes to photography, Alan emailed me and confirmed the link I left to my photos was not working so heres the new one...

Yes but the other two have their brake lights on. Mind you, being an OAP Honda,it could be foglights. He he.

No news on the baby front. It looks like it's in there until after the New Year. It's not really due until the 7th but we don't want to wait that long so I have the plunger handy.

first off i have to apologise to john for the oil i assume was coming from my car. what can i say, its a 15 year old peugeot!

I knew bringing craig to take pictures would be a good idea

And keeping up was hard enough! I planned to overtake on the a470 so craig could get pictures of everyone from a few angles, but as it happened the traffic got in the way, and the pace wasn't really in the 205's zone i.e. above 80-90mph and its very laboured. I really could of done with my supercharger plans a year early to help out!

still a lot of fun though

edit to include details about trackday which we mentioned: it is definately March 4th, the price should be in keeping with the last few which was £75 iirc. The thread to register intrest is here: www.wpce.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=827&st=0

and the fun we had in October can be seen here: www.wpce.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=829&st=0

Cheers all, Ben

Was it vegetable oil, tasted like it

Thank Craig for the pictures - great.

Are the links you posted to the trackday only accessible to those that are registered? If not, I'd like to copy the link to the Atom forum.

Cheers

John

PS I did think about pulling alongside you so you could get some pics but as you say, there was quite a bit of traffic and the roads were very greasy

Just got back on line so it was great seeing the pics, good to meet you all, after we left you at the Brecon car park we headed North all the way Aberystwyth then down the coast then cut back to Brecon, pretty snowey, pretty slippery but good fun, only one near incident when overtaking a truck & the back slid out but no harm done...

Looking forward to the next run...

Bollocks I forgot all about this - no internet access for the last 11 days.

Looks like it was fun. I'll definately be there for the next one.
