Also, I’ve now seen this twice, a white LDV van, (crafter size) with lights in the grill and window, both times with 2 marked police cars in front of it and 1 behind. No idea what it is though

I have seen it on the M4 several times on the M4 between Bridgend and Margam, seems to be driver training, with the way they leave the motorway and rejoin in the other direction.

Harbour Way in Port Talbot has been used over the last few weeks for training, with the marked cars trying to block a b;ack unmarked Skoda Octavia VRS. Several unmarked black XC90's in the area now.

Yeah that’s the one I saw!

Have also seen a smattering of unmarked Volvo SUVs, SWP seem to be slowly replacing the BMWs with Volvos. Seen more and more marked V90s as well

A increasing amount of VAG cars about now, I saw a dark grey and a silver cupra leon estate, both 22 plates around Newport, also a silver Octavia VRS and a xc90 all within a few seconds of each other at junction 26.

Also saw a white 330d saloon, se, again a 22 plate.

Some form of Audi A4 wagon around Thornhill. Seen it twice, usually driven by plain clothes officers. Has lights in the grill and on the side of the numberplate. Vx69 xxx I think the ref is, cannot remember off hand. Quite discreet. Unsure if SWP or Gwent as it’s right on the cusp of Caerphilly borough

Unmarked white Transit type van in Bridgend, the giveaway was that it had a lot of blue flashing lights on it. Other than that just looked like the numerous other white vans.
