Cracking turnout, good to see some new faces and some new metal there today.

The 1st (and only) meeting of the Cross Hands Haiwaiian Shirt Appreciation Society appeared to be a success.

Had to laugh when Sam told me a woman asked him why there were loads of blokes in Haiwaiian shirts staring at a car engine.

Well what can I say smile

Firstly, the hawaiian shirts to commend my choice of car, glasses and facial hair were a nice touch (I have a very long memory Huw wink )

Secondly, thanks to Danny once again for organising the breakfast meets with today being the 4 year Anniversary since they began.

Thirdly, great to meet some new guys once again, and see some cracking new motors (the M5, Evo and Monaro's especially) - the M5 was a real treat for me personally, so thanks to Craig for bringing it along to the first of hopefully many he will attend. Sorry if I didn't get to chat to some of the newbies too, but hopefully you will all attend again so we can all get a closer look at your motors.

Fourthly, I was pretty happy with the 99 decibels from my Ferrari (thanks to Andi's noisemeter) and even more so when the Monaro and Evo were only just touching 97 decibels (I actually thought myself they would have been louder than mind, but you can't argue with facts lol)

Fifthly, I will add all my pictures later on when I have some more time - think I got a picture of every car that attended too smile (if anyone else took some, please add to them this thread as we all love seeing the pictures etc)

See you all at the next one - Love Magnum PI x

I'm sure he has a pair of John Travolta white slip-ons in the cupboard somewhere smile

Good to see everyone and meet some new faces too.

Haha.

Would love to see your RS6 at one of the meets ! After seeing pictures and watching videos it would be awesome to see it in the flesh. Stunning looking car inside and out smile

Nice to see Craig made it in the M5. I had to work this morning so couldn't make it but I'm determined to make at least one meet over the summer. Be nice to have two blue M5s there :-)

Hmmm. Two 'gentlemen' in a car park, in loud shirts one kneeling down in front of the other discussing size! George Michael would be proud.

The usual good fun today, plus the cafe introducing a number system for our orders bringing a little civility to the usual scrum that sees me getting who knows what.

I would have pissed myself if the EVO had only spat its flames when Andi was taking its decibel reading and not long after.

It's not that I don't like you Andi it's just fun to see your mates suffer in strange ways and then have to explain the consequences to the missues. (I know I've been there.)

Stue, the numbering system worked really well, other than them loosing a sheet of paper with five orders on it. Hence the top end of the table still eating when everybody had gone outside.
