Thanks to all who came today - the new venue and carvery got the thumbs up so this may be the one for the future, nice meeting all those new faces, a good bunch of girls and boys

Pity about several that couldn`t make it for various reasons but still a strong showing of nearly 20 cars today so a reasonable number

I`ll put some pics up soon. That Cobra - (and you could have eaten your dinner off it literally )

Hi Ian and all,
great meeting, good to see you all. Glad you liked the car, was nice seeing the TVR's, very impressive, good to hear that they're not expensive to run as I thought they would be. Was the 911 with us?

I might have had something to say if someone had put theyre dinner on it,
Phil

Hi Ian,

Good to finally meet you too.

It was a good meet at a very good venue.
Lovely dinner.........

The Dax was a stunning car.....
Took lots of piccies, but I must have had the flash on the ones I took of the Tivs....because they didn't come out at all well

Nice to have a chat with a few of you; next time a few more I hope. The ‘9’ was feeling wholly uncomfortable in the presence of so much of Blackpool’s heavy artillery, I will have to get it some new Fiberglas bodywork .

I have to say that hearing about the new Typhoon was fascinating and can’t wait to see the leviathan. OH! please please please take it to a the first available PH day at Brunters and sweep everything before it, you’ll leave one or two from the Porsche forum extremely sore I think (that by the way would be a very good thing ).

here you go folks, just a few pics - quite a few others were parked amongst the general publics cars on their own so perhaps next time it would be good to all use the grass section to the left of the main carpark - if it hasn`t been raining

Lovely picture of the Toffermobile...the bonnet was up to let the heat out...no other sinister reason!

It was a shame that Simpo could not make it...

Matt wondered if Pauline had a daughter that wanted a kiss?

BTW if anyone saw the episode of the Simpsons where Homer has to eat an 80lb steak...the Flying Fortress carvery was similar...we ate so much beef we nearly got "beef poisoning"

Looking forward to the next "MEAT" at the Flying Fortress...memo to Toffer "don't eat breakfast!"

I have offspring.....just the one (I learn very quickly!!!)

Matt is more than welcome to bestowe kisses, however I should point out that Daniel is 24......is 6ft and may not take too kindly to Matt's show of affection.....

Good to meet you Toffer, say hello to Matt for me, even if I didn't get a kiss goodbye

Blimey, it must have been good to bring you out of your PH lurking!!

Glad you enjoyed it Chris If you can get in front of Neil Mac next time, we might be able to keep his speed down a bit!!!
