Unless you have lots of lift off oversteer - or constantly go into corners too hot I'd say rears wouldn't take much harm on a FWD

How come this thread is no longer in "My Stuff" ? I know this is probably the wrong place to post a technical issue, but I was woundering if its just this thread.

Weird - still in mine - some forums if the post is moved you lose the bookmarks/links but not this one

Not a time thing is it - try 14 days rather than recent - old threads drop out of my stuff if they aren't posted to regularily - I know that's not the case with this thread but you never know

Evening guys,

Just booked marham as my first (car) track day, I will be using my road car so it won't be trailered to the event but I read that only cars and towing car will be allowed in, is there anywhere to store tools spares etc? I only ask as I don't want all the stuff in my boot when I'm going round! When I was doing bike track days I had my car to which was full of tools etc.
Thanks steve

Steve - you can just leave tools etc where you park - everything is safe etc so no worries, although take a terpulin just in case it rains!

yes, no problem - I'm thinking I'll be the only Holden there, so should be pretty easy to spot. We'll potter round for as long as is needed. Either my car or hers.

^ This - people at Marham are very honest in my experience. Once you've set up in the pit area that's your space and I've only known people to temporarily borrow it - mostly to chat to a mate who is next to you before going out wink

People tend to congregate together in groups ABS Club, PH'rs, The Retro Rides Peeps and those boosted Saab Peeps (Mark you're quiet this year biggrin) But if you don't know anyone don't panic cos it's really not at all clicky - rock up to an empty slot in the pit area and say hello to those on either side of you - it'll be fine from then on biggrin

It realy isn't like a circuit based trackday IMO.
