Evening guys,

Just booked marham as my first (car) track day, I will be using my road car so it won't be trailered to the event but I read that only cars and towing car will be allowed in, is there anywhere to store tools spares etc? I only ask as I don't want all the stuff in my boot when I'm going round! When I was doing bike track days I had my car to which was full of tools etc.
Thanks steve
Steve - you can just leave tools etc where you park - everything is safe etc so no worries, although take a terpulin just in case it rains!
^ This - people at Marham are very honest in my experience. Once you've set up in the pit area that's your space and I've only known people to temporarily borrow it - mostly to chat to a mate who is next to you before going out wink

People tend to congregate together in groups ABS Club, PH'rs, The Retro Rides Peeps and those boosted Saab Peeps (Mark you're quiet this year biggrin) But if you don't know anyone don't panic cos it's really not at all clicky - rock up to an empty slot in the pit area and say hello to those on either side of you - it'll be fine from then on biggrin

It realy isn't like a circuit based trackday IMO.

Anyone have any advice for a pair of new track drivers?
Have you read the earlier posts?

Specific questions are much easier to respond to biggrin

Assuming this is going ahead at the end of May,
That's a very big assumption wink

can anyone enlighten me as to any potential problems with changing my car just a few days before the event? I'd ideally book in my 328, which is pretty much just a parts bin at the moment. If it's not together in time I'd like to bring something else. Possible?
Car changes have never been a problem - it's people that are the security issue biggrin

Repeat of last year? Think i'll have to take a day off work and do a mid week track day at this rate.
several of us are doing just that too

The guys are working hard to fit a date in that works round the operational commitments of the base but I know the May date is now out - new date not 100% firm and as soon as I know it is - it'll be on here.
