Sorry Guys - looks like we wont be making it - I had got a really nice route sorted as well. Mr Big wants to watch the Grand Prix - plus I have toothache - so probably not a good idea to be munching on prime beef.

Maybe next month.

I couldn`t make it either today, still helping parents with their move. I`ve just come in from out of the rain after moving a dozen huge pot plants - and my Dad has decided he wants to move half of them around - because they don`t look right!!!

Next months gathering may be co-inciding with a local air show which is near the Flying Fortress so keep an eye out ok

Never mind Big M, Ian and John, the weather didn't help but we still had some new faces and two Boxsters and our first Elise as well.

The FF was packed but the staff were very accommodating, despite trying to charge me for 6 (SIX!) carveries! They must have thought I had an Ultima or something

I shall now hand back to Mr Beech who will be announcing the next meet soon.

So Simon thought it was more important to go to Le-mans than support you with your parents 40th anniversary did he?!! stir stir I could easily have decided it was better to go to The flying Fortress today to stuff my face than help my parents moving - but I didn`t did I!! continuing to stir I reckon he owes you a big slap up meal!! See you at Helmingham!!

I didn't realise there is a PH East Anglian group - sounds great.

How often do you meet, is it a monthly thing or just when enough people think it is a good idea to get together.

I would be interested in getting involved - just got myself a GTO 3R does this qualify for membership to your highly esteemed group.

My mate has got the new Exige can he come and play too.

Wayne - Colchester

All welcome - the only requirement is petrol running through your veins It has become a monthly easy going gathering on the last Sunday of each month - but just to keep you on your toes, the next one in August may be slightly different due to a local air show, we may do it to co-incide with that Keep an eye out ok!!

When I say Colchester that more reference than anything else. I'm actually in a small village called Wakes Colne about 8 miles from colchester. Would like to see the Ultima sometime.

Another 3R in Essex! At this rate we'll be able to set up an Essex Noble club. Some good fun roads up your way. I take the odd weekend excursion up that way (gentle drives in the countryside obviously).

Cheers

They must be breeding. Last year, after I had taken my local, car enthusiast, postmaster out in the Griff, he told me about going for a ride in a Noble. Someone in the insurance business, in the local of Lexden, anyone here?

It Wont be me that was spotted in the Ultima as I sold mine about 3mths ago.... to say Ive been missing it would be a bit of an understatment though

Have started my new project though, V12, twin turbos, mid engine, Motec etc........

Wayne.
I'm just outside Bures.... and my local chinese is in earls colne.
so your not far away at all....
On a similar note Id love to see your car... I've raced the new Noble in my Ultima at an Autocar 0-100-0 day and even had the seats and rear wing on my Ultima, but I'm yet to have a proper look at one....
your a lucky man they really are special cars.

Andy, what does your new car look like? I've done a quick search on Google but couldn't find anything (apart from www.nemesisracing.com/gallery/ but that's something completely different and probably not work safe!)

Edit - fooking typical - www.pistonheads.com/clubmans/features/Default.asp?storyId=4585
