Hi Zippee - good choice of car

When we did a hoon to Duxford, I believe there were several from around Cambs. We started a monthly gathering last year (last Sunday of the month) in Bury St Edmunds and "PHRoadshow" was born with several well attended and excellent events. There were a broad spectrum of marques inc TVRs Nobles, Ferraris etc so why not come along next year. Keep an eye on this forum ok

Better late than never - I live in St. Neots too!

I drive a TVR V8S - unfortunity it's in it's own carcoon at present and will be out once the salt/grit has been washed from the roads (March time).

Look forward to see a Chim around town, pop round and show me if you get chance,

Andy

Me too from that area.

There is a very good very local pub meet (non PH as far as I know) if you like classics and race cars

I'm only in Ely so St Neots is not too far for me, would be up for meeting and a few 'runs' when things get a bit warmer.

What! Famous at last? Sprint goes to my old address & haven't had a chance to pick it up yet.

Are you selling up to move or selling the TVR? Had a bit of a 'moment' before Christmas near Stuntney chasing one of the guys I work with in his 360 Modenna when a car pulled out in front of him. Thank god the Elise has good brakes or I could have easily written off £100k worth of rarri! Are there any other Ely region PHers out there?

Selling the house. Couldn't contemplate losing the Trev!

Close call with the Ferrari then. There's been several crashes on that bit of road. Usually numpties overtaking - rear-ending cars turning right into Stuntney is a favourite. I was thinking of starting a spare parts business with the bits at the side of the road.

Don't know of any other PHers - although I see a nice Tuscan around town. Usually parked near the Cathedral.

Mini enthusiast, huh ? My first car was a 998 Friends called it bogey coloured, I preferred to think of it has Daytona Yellow (with a black roof).

Friends would ask 'what you doing this weekend, kenny ?'
Me : Fixing the car
Them : what's wrong with it ?
Me: Nothing....yet

I'm in Cambridge. I would love to meet up for a hoon and get along to a meet as soon as possible.

Sadly, by as soon as possible, I mean once I've fixed the brake imbalance, welded the sills back together, changed the rear link bushes and rearranged the rear lights.

Whilst I'm fixing those things that don't work I'm also doing an all round brake upgrade as I simply can't justify spending all that time with the wheels off without making some performance gains. It would just be rude.

So, hopefully, all that should be done by the end of the month if anyone's up for a beer then?

If that's your car in your profile and it has PH stickers on it - I am sure I have seen it around.

That's my car in the profile, but the only ph sticker it has on it is the little smiley and pistons.

Could be you've seen a friend of mine, who has the same car but in red. That's absolutely covered in ph decals!
