Steve - thanks again to you and all the others who worked so hard to give us another great weekend. The damp first morning was actually a lot of fun thanks to all the extra room to gather the car up again. I hope your team enjoyed their rides: I was pleased to have a passenger for almost every lap. And I went home with a fully operational set of brakes this time, too![...]

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, loved every minute - the smell of brakes being worked hard, sitting at the complexes to hear sound of drivers being pushed, I really hope to see you all again come spring (roughly end of April).... spread the word, tell everyone about it!!!!

Stop booking the event when Open London is on............ Steve.

Or publish the dates 1 year in advance
We have a rule in the house - whatever gets put on the calendar first gets weekend preference....... And I've missed two events due to house rules.......

You guys certainly kept all 4 safety cars, recovery and marshals busy / entertained, straightening cones, picking up arch liners and in some cases requiring another van load of cones to replace the flat ones.....
That arch liner got spat out right in front of me..... certainly grabbed my attention.Jeano said:

I'll bet!! The screwdriver worried us... hit that and get a shredded tyre at speed.....Blunt end
Better pic from other side
Points to note
I was doing sub 30 mph
They are not my pliers
It was a brand new tyre
It wasn't repairable
The wheel arch liner did not survive!!!
Belated thanks to Steve and his team for a fantastic track weekend. As usual the team put so much effort and dedication into the organisation (whatever the weather throws at them) making this an enjoyable event for us drivers.
I arrived on Saturday morning with my Hyundai, followed by Rob (minus his red Nova) and Stuart in the Holden. The track was water logged in places so I was a little apprehensive to go out on the track but after several laps I started to get into the flow of things and certainly woke up when the Formula 3 came haring past. Rob was sulking as he had to substitute his Nova for a Skoda as after the event we were heading to Warwickshire to compete in an all night road rally and as I was driving the Nova on the rally, I had to desperately keep it safely away from Rob's hands! It was good catching up with old track day friends, (missed spotted laurel and a ride in his Lexus) the atmosphere was good and the food very tasty. On Sunday Rob's smile returned as he was back on the track in the Nova but unfortunately by the end of the day the car blew a head gasket and sadly had to be towed home. I think the Granger brothers luck ran out as poor Stuart's Holden also packed up on Saturday with alternator problems. Phew the joys of motorsport - there is always a tale to tell at Marham! Looking forward to the next event in April.
ps some photos of the previous track day in May.to follow.

Can anyone remember this one from way back (ouch)! Luckily, no one was hurt. This was my old skoda rally car but hence not the driver!
