Thought I would have a wobble over to see what was on track. Turns out to be about 20 cars in total, a few made in Japan jobbies, TVR T350, an American muscle racer, couple of Caterhams, scobie, Porker, Peugot 106, and a Ultima. What a day for those people, no one on track really. Anyone here go there.

Oh and plod had his lazer gun thingie out on the A11 when I scorched past him in my Fiat Pantso

I was there on friday in my Elise and my mate was in his Boxster.

Quite a few people on track then. Porsches, Ferrari 360's, ultima, radical sr3, a bag full of caterhams and loads of others.

I must say it is a pretty good track and the weather was great too.

Just my luck to pick the wrong day to visit, Snetterton is a good track and its getting better all the time now its under new ownership. Its just down the road (well 25 miles) from me so nice and convenient. I had'nt realized that the track was booked out for the Friday.

Yep that was me in the Boxster, that awtong mentioned, it was a great day, and some great machinery going round! A few race teams there for a cheap practice session though!

They may have been a few race cars there but the majority of racers do not run big budgets, and have you seen the price of testing these days!

Perhaps you Porsche guys were a little upset that a standard MGF can out handle you in the twisty stuff?

Great day all round though.

I wasn't in a porsche I was in the Elise.

I was there to have fun not worry about what MGF's were doing!!

Couple of them were pretty quick though.

And did you see the shock on an M3 drivers face when he tried to have go at a Bentley on the start finish straight! Blown away comes to mind.

No gripes with Elise owners, just Porsche drivers who complain about race cars.

New to all this - Snetterton is fairly local to me, what's the best way to find out whats on / when etc. I intend to take my 111R in the future...
