PHEA ROADSHOW: Cars On The Green - Sunday 18th June
Discussion
I popped onto your stand just to introduce myself but you guys must have been on walkabout or lunching. i was with the Mercedes forum a bit further down from you lot.
As said, incredible weather, and a massive turnout again. The only thing which spoils it slightly for me is the feeling of captivity, in that nothing is supposed to move until 4ish, though I noticed that a few did sneak off earlier. I understand the reason for it, there's literally hundreds of people walking round, though I'm going to ask our organiser to try to get something a bit closer to an exit for next year. Bit selfish, but it's a 4 hour drive home for a couple of us and queueing to get out makes it even longer. And my bloody air-con packed in halfway home, so it was like driving about in a sauna.
Ah well, see you next year hopefully.

Whereabouts was the Pistonheads stand? I walked around for 2 hours and didn't find it?
Over the bridge from the funfair, second row on the right, past the MX5s and before the Alfa people. vtecsilver said:
I popped over to say high but it looked like everyone I know had gone walkabout, unless you all saw me first !What a good day, crazy sunshine and some really nice cars, good PH turnout as usual.
Nice pictures, I had to have a second take when I saw the Mini parked up, I know I was looking to bring the Prowler but I recently got this ....
P.S. Its a 2007 with a 54 plate as previously owned by a 'Becky'.....or was it David Beckham?
Catch up next time. Nick.

We were in the very, very sunny bit! As said, over the bridge, on the left beyond the large number of MX5 owners. Sorry to have missed you.

Sorry to have missed you, but thank you for popping over. A few of us were perched in the shade at either the top or bottom of the hill, or just going for wander. I feel your pain re: air con - my ran out of gas a few days before!Looking at your car in your profile, it seems I was chatting with a PHer next to the Mercedes stand as you left. Had I only known, I would have said "Hello"
Hopefully see you guys next time

I'd like to offer my immense thanks to everyone who made it along to Cars on the Green.
It certainly was a hot one, with our stand being in what seemed one of the sunniest spots at Nowton Park! I can't complain the weather was glorious, even if I was melty mess and the car oven-like by the end of the day! It made for a fantastic show-wide turnout, for sure!
We had another great display of varied machinery, showing the public what PH is all about.
There was so much to see across the show, even if I was late in going for a walk and I seemingly missed loads!
I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with PHEA regulars and meeting a couple of new members. Apologies if I didn't get to chat with you much, something I can hopefully remedy in the near future.
Thank you to all those PHers, who were attending with other clubs or as the paying public, for dropping by to say hello
Finally, I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to many of you.
Once I've uploaded my snaps from the day, I'll post the link here.
Next up is the Summer RunTHIS Sunday 25th June.
See you again soon.
