Convertible Roof Replacement....

I need a new roof! My Mk1 Golf Gti is finally moving to the top of my to-do list. It's going in the garage for works to start in the New Year on slowly rebuilding/replacing bits. The main one is going to be the roof.
It has the original vinyl roof which has shrunk and torn so needs replacing. Done well for 27 years old though! Does anyone have any recommendations for someone in East Anglia? Preferably mohair and PREFERABLY, on my driveway... but can travel if needs be.

I spoke to that chap yesterday, was helpful enough and reasonably priced. Quoted me £500 but didn't go too in depth with what is included. Another chap in Aylsham - Moores Trimming - (I think that's the name!) quoted me £700 worst case scenario but that included new cables and new rear glass etc.. so seemed a bit more knowledgeable.
It's a little way off but these two seemed pretty good. I have been given another couple of numbers to call so will keep you posted.
