Thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday! The walk around the workshop was
probably the most impressive of my life, with more than a couple of cars
to be happy to be seen dead in. Burger was good, but all the better for
being eaten in good company.
I was a bit surprised at the attention the R5 received and some wonderful
compliments given, one in particular in that company of metal and plastic.
All gratefully received, thank you. With some B road driving there and back,
the lack of power steering had its impact, but the aches afterwards only
brought back good memories, including another demand to sell it.
Thanks to Darren & Alex for laying on such a superbly relaxed day. It all
passed by a little too quickly...

I would like to offer my thanks for everyone who turned out for an excellent day at Stratton Motor Company.
It was great to see so many of you come out to enjoy a look around a fantastic facility.
I was so grateful to have a catch up with everyone. I'm sorry if I missed you or our chat wasn't too long. Hopefully I can remedy this in the future
Thank you to Alex, Tim and everyone else at SMC for putting on excellent day with tasty burgers and so much to see outside & inside the showroom, in the workshop and of course in that glorious toy box of the excellent race facility
