Hello everyone,

I hope you are all keeping safe and well, steering clear of the virus during these strange times.

I just thought to post a message to inform you that I am continuing to update the Calendar and, potentially, we have good news.
In light of the most recent government advice, we currently have cancellations until mid-July, and I am sorry to say our Social Summer Meets at Snetterton, as well as our Cars and Coffee Meets, will remain cancelled in line with the social distancing guidelines.

However, I am pleased to say MSV have restarted their trackday operations, so there is a possibility the PHEA Track Event could go ahead.
If things carry on well, I shall post Full Details in good time.

If restrictions allow, I am also hopeful some kind of socially distanced Run can be organised before the year is out! Fingers crossed smile

When possible, I shall continue my updates to the Calendar on the PHEA Forum only as I cannot seem to update Facebook Calendar Post.

While organising car events remains very minor in the grand scheme of things, I thought it best to touch base with you all.
When life can once again allow, I look forward to seeing you all again for more fun Events thumbup

Until then, please take care smile
I hope to see you soon!

All the best,
Darren

Thanks for the update, Darren. Not sure if it's too early to do so, but I'd love to put my name forward for joining the Snetterton track day on the 15th July if it goes ahead!

Thanks for the update Darren, hope you and the family are all keeping safe and well

Looking forward to getting out on some runs soon! I know the lincolnshire lot are getting itchy for drives out! I have had a fair few solo drives out of late which have been great but not quite the same!

I cant make this latest track meet due to working but hope to be able to join you on track soon (in fact i may even be there for the evening session on the same date yet!)

Speak soon!

Just touching base with this thread. I moved up to the Halesworth area six months ago.

My garage will be completed next week and so I'll be able to get our cars out of storage.

I can't wait to chuck my 964 into the nearest ditch. hehe

Fellow Halesworth-ian here!

Ex Porker owner but I'm now cruising round in a very ASBO-worthy white Clio 200.. I'll keep an eye out for the 964 and give you a wave!

***UPDATE: 16th July***

As promised, I have continued to update the PHEA Calendar on the PHEA Forum.

Unfortunately all Roadshow Events have now been officially cancelled for 2020.
This year's SSM meets won't be going ahead and while the one remaining PHEA @ Norfolk Cars & Coffee event is still on the Calendar, this is very much subject to further social distancing easements by the government.

The PHEA Track Event is going ahead for the 22nd July, however MSV have maintained their policy of no spectators.

I am looking into the possibility of putting together a restricted Run of some sort, maybe in August, so please watch this space for more information.

I hope you are all continuing to stay safe and well.
I look forward to seeing you all again before too long!

All the best,
Darren

Hi Al,

Unfortunately I won't pop us down for that one this year, although it does look good so I'll see if I can get us there in the future Thank you for the tip smile

Good evening everyone,

I hope you're all remaining safe and well. I have another quick update for you all.....
Following the success of the first socially distanced Run last month, I was hoping to put together another. However, following today's government announcement, this plan will have to be put on hold until we can gather in greater numbers once again.

Sorry to disappoint you, but rest assured we'll have another one when we can driving

All the best,
Darren

Good morning all,

I trust everyone is continuing to keep safe and healthy.
I'm just popping back here to sadly confirm there will be no PHEA Christmas Dinner gathering this year.

Considering the most recent increase in restrictions, it just won't be possible to organise. I'm sorry to disappoint you all, but I'm hopefully next year will see us a little more active! smile

Take care.

All the best,
Darren
