Live near Snetterton, the A11 bypass has improved things massively for heading "down south". Not worried about flooding, agree with others to allow some time to travel somewhere but all in all, its a quiet peaceful life. Property recently seems expensive but guess that's all over the UK - certainly have to offer above asking price to be considered. No issues with access to health services. Despite what people say, it isn't a backwards inter-family marriage sort of place.

Appears to be quite a lot of money moving this way (2 x £1.3million houses gone up and sold in my little village).

Snetterton is great for tracks days also (this is a car forum after all, so worth mentioning)

Well, thanks to everyone for your input.

It worked, we've had an offer accepted on a place in Swaffham and we're looking forward to moving there (from France) in September!
