I do hope GTR-GAZ hasn`t resorted to dirty tricks in order to try and win a competition over you!

The addy I have for you is Dawn's so will send you a special additional e-mail right now.
Alcohol is a great painkiller but probably not a good idea for driving...
We had 3 Ultimas at Rougham, I was hoping for a new quadruple Ultima record

Hi Simon, sad news

Just as well you managed to catch him though.
(also saved the HSE getting involved, as they are a pain in the neck)

I'm going to have to ask that you vouch that I am a P.H. as I have no pass, they won't believe me that I'm on the stand just cos my car is a little slower than most (all)

Will resend. Have you got more than one e-mail address?

OK, have sent all info to you *plus* JPG of Pass again, plus my phone number. If you can't get your e-mail or your phone working, quote Stand Number 'Pistonheads 161'. They will have your reg no on a list for verification so don't despair!

As usual it was a nice classy show in a nice setting.

However, I did feel that the VW camper boys & girls let the side down a bit parked amongst the very shiny Astons, Bentleys, Ferraris etc. They could have have put a bit more elbow grease into the polishing.

One for Garys photo book I reckon. Good pic.

Enjoyed another day, ( courtesy of John ) and great to see everybody again.

Special thanks to our Lavenham guide Barcardi who did a great job giving us the "concise" tour. Oh and Sorry about the confusion about the tour guide payment Paul, I mis-understood what you meant by "lolly"

The pleasure of your company was payment enough!
(can you lend me £500?)

Actually, that lolly went down a treat thanks!

(Larger tours available, complete with historical points of interest and a souvenir map. By appointment only)

Glad your wrist is on the mend Simon.
Had a few comments about my shirt!!! I think it might be heading for the charity shop, methinks

Nice pic, Ferg

Good to be in the arena, even though the old boy in the even older car nearly backed into me. He wasn't looking behind him

Good to see you all. Well done John for organising it all so well (as usual). Sorry we got some cars the wrong way round, before your arrival! Get there early next time!!

A great day out, cheers.

Just ignore those comments about your shirt Gary. There`s nothing wrong with that shirt that sun glasses wouldn`t put right!

Besides, I don`t think charity shops do refunds, do they?!

Whew, made it Thanks very much to all PHers who made it a great day: Andrew, Paul, Derek, Phil, Adam, David, Fergus, Gary, Natalie, Keith, Nathan, Alan, Elliott, Neil, Matthew, other halves and family.

We had 9 TVRs, 2 Ultimas, Noble, Tiger, GTM, a remarkable Countach replica and of course our mascot Austin. A great end to the Shows season and now I can relax and let Ian do some work for a change organising next month's Flying Pig Raid!

I'll post some photos tomorrow.

Cheers all, I'm going now 'cos I'm knackered!

Nice photos, Barcardi

Those VW vans were something!! Apparantly that's called the "rat look". The rougher the better!
The opposite of concours, I suppose.
