That`s quite a choice you have there Murph!

But I`d love to hear that V12!

Phil, if the Cobra was mine, the 3 day cleaning (and I know it would need that!) alone would sufficient for it never to see rain!!

Thanks.

Though of the two, I think most would say the 355 has the most memorable engine noise (decatted Tubi exhaust - pure F1, when F1 sounded good).

A K-series Caterham can sound pretty mental too

If you`d like to bring both Ferraris, you might like to know I`ve just started a new sports car Chauffeur service and my insurance just happens to "specifically" cover Daytonas!

I picked up my new toy on Friday (not quite a Daytona unfortunately) - weather permitting we'll be along!

You should recognise me

Well I`m sure your merc will feel quite superior to my Pug 406

I might try to blagg a ride from the pub onwards so I can do some filming!

Cheers Simpo - you`re a gent! That`s the one way ticket sorted, just need to organise the return fare now so that the "Flying Pig support vehicle" can be left at the Flying Fortress!

I'm travelling up from London but will be solo. So have a spare seat.

Not sure where would be best to pick anyone up, but don't mind a detour.

Hi Murph, assuming you will be coming up from London via M11 and A14, you can either meet at the Cambridge meeting point (where you should be at least in the company of Gary in his yellow Ultima - he knows how to get to the Flying Fortress pub in Bury St Edmunds which is our main meeting point) or alternatively make your way directly to the pub by your own route.

From here we will be doing the "FP" run as shown at the beginning of this thread. At the end of the run (at Jimmys farm) I would imagine you may want to head back to London on the A12 - but if you decide to follow the same route back along the A14 and M11, then I`d welcome the chance for a ride back to The Flying Fortress with the added advantage of getting some in car filming done!

Or you can head up the A12 towards Ipswich and meet the southern group assembling at Toys 'R' Us for 11.30am departure?

Depends on which part of London you are coming from.

I live 2 mins from the A1 in North Herts.

The Bucket & Spade raid in April was very nearly postponed due to the weather forecasting. In the end the weather was far better than predicted.

I will watch and wait - look out for a new thread as "go or no" either Friday night or Saturday morning

Didn`t you threaten the weather for the "Bucket & Spade raid" because you was stressed then? It worked though so do your best for the "Flying Pig raid" as tonights forecast for Sunday needs significant improvement!

Anyway, I thought I had the monopoly on stress?!

Hello gentlemen,

Sorry to say that my car will not be back from the doctors in time and I am instead going to the A1 GP event at Brands.

Thank you GTR-GAZ (Gary) for your kind offer of a lift in the Noble-Ultima, an offer which I still hope to make use of soon!

Hope you all have a great day and I look forward to seeing all the piccies! (John) And Video! (Ian)

I'll do a "sundance" for you!!
