I really REALLY hate to ask especially at short notice, but is there anybody in the Dereham area of Norfolk who could be willing to take me to Sunday's Meeting in Bury, and bring me home again. Obviously you will get petrol costs.
I'm in a village called Shipdham, just west of Dereham. For those who went on the Mosler visit, you guys drove through it, between Watton and Dereham.
Last night at about half ten, my immobiliser refused to disable, so I've been unable to start her. My Merc Specialist have been working on it today, but require a part and the car won't even be ready for Ian's funeral day - although I should have access to another car by then.
Like I say I really hate to ask, but my Mum can't phone the NFU to put me on the Freelander, as they are closed until Monday. As for our other car, I won't be able to get insurance on it

Theres one more insurance route we're yet to try (instead of adding the driver to the car, add the Freelander to mine and my Dad's policy - different insurance company)

Like I say any PHer's who can help me here will obviously get petrol cost payment. I will certainly be forever greatful!!!

Regards,

Darren

I will Darren....I'm not a million miles away.....I am coming that way on tuesday too if you need a lift then, but we can discuss that sunday....as long as you don't mind my 'style' of driving.....I have just come back from a weeks pro-kart racing and got the award for "most larey bastard"....(but i was also joint quickest most days)

p.s give me your address for the tom tom please and postcode...by email
