Is there a layout of the track at all?

I may have another Car interested Scooby WRX. maybe an STi by then!

Also I'll only be there if I have a new clutch in time! Hopefully will be getting it sorted this month, but its slipping like crazy!

Okay - here goes (this will be my first track day)

Rupert (Aero) Z3 3.0i

I should be able to get a helmet and extinguisher, I've also been advised to get the brake pads checked and replaced if nearly worn....

What about insurance???????????

Anyone going from the Woolpit / Bury ST Edmunds area?

Insurance, well, that's entirely up to you. If you can get resonable cover than go for it.
I did'nt have any at the last one.
Three reasons really:

The cost I was quoted was about £250, BUT, that was with an excess of £3,000! and a max cover on my Ultima of £25,000 (or it could have been £30,000, I can't remember)Anyway the Ultima is worth about £40,000

I had no intention of pushing it to it's limits. They are way beyond my capabilties.

There is nothing to hit, except a few cones and they are unlikely to do more than £3,000 worth of damage!

My only fear would be it catching alight!!

Excess on Track day insurance is usually 10% of the car value from what I gather and the premium is also somehow related.

Hitting a Cone = £600 (ish) damage in my Boxster!

I'll be going from Mildenhall, I'm not sure how to get to the venue but I'm sure we could meet up on the way!

Hi Zippee, I hope to be there on the Sunday only. Not sure what the format will be this year. It was mainly bikes on the Saturday.
Hopefully the list at the moment will be for the Sunday.

tdjdixon911, a DB6 sounds good

Hav'nt decided where to meet up at the moment. Cars coming from the east could meet at the supermarket just off the A47 at Swaffham (right next to the windmill, you can't miss that!) From there it's only 10-15 mins to Marham.
I will be coming up the A10 so could meet others coming from the west somewhere near Downham Market.

BTW, If any one wants to add their name to the list, all you need to do is click on the "quote" icon, add your own name to the list and then delete [quote=gtr-gaz][quote=gtr-gaz] just like peterspg and gruffy have done.
