Hi all; the 2006 Show season starts here

In addition to the raids and factory visits currently being organised, we'll have a Stand at a number of high-quality and well-attended car shows and displays:

June 18: East Anglian Practical Classics
Aug 6: Helmingham Hall
Aug 20: Rougham Air Display and International Sports Car Day
Aug 28: Lavenham Rare Breeds Motor Show (replaces PHEA meet on 27th)

If you have a suitable car and want to join us on the stand, please let me know as each place needs to be booked. You can get more info and see photos from previous events at www.phea.co.uk.

In addition, Pistonfest 2006 is coming to our region. We'll be dropping in for the day on Sunday 30 April. This is an ideal opportunity to meet PHers from all over the country and see some racing without catching hypothermia in a draughty tent! Entry on the day is £10. We'll fix up an RV nearer the time so we can arrive in convoy.

If you have any questions please mail me; we look forward to a very busy year

Hi Scott, sure do; do you think I should make you take the Elise to a Roadshow event to win one?

Hi John,
Can you book me in for the 'Practical Classics' and Lavenham, please?

Ta.

PS To anyone who hasn't been I think Lavenham is the most varied and interesting car show I've been to. Don't hesitate, book in with Simpo!!! (Was very hot last year though!!!)

Tell you what, I'll put you down for all so that when you don't turn up we get a spare place for late arrivals

Al these shows have places for individual entries and group entries, so you're welcome to book independently but you must be sure to tell them that you want to be with the PistonHeads group. Otherwise, our space may not be big enough, because I only book it for the cars I know are going. Lavenham is a good case - *every single car* is allocated a car-sized space so trying to cram in on the day just doesn't work; we can't budge up because there's nowhere to budge to, and of course once cars have parked and the owners have sauntered off, we can't move them anyway!

Hi again and we look forward to seeing you PF is at Snetterton; it's over both days of the weekend but for those not wanting to do the whole thing, we're going on the Sunday, £10 on the gate. I'll see that you have a space with us for the other two. Cheers!

Hi John,
Ive just realised the PistonFest is at Snetterton, yeah I know, Im a little slow!! So I thought Id pre-book the tickets, but they seem to be £25, where as you say its £10 on the day, so Im confused now, or is the £25 for the whole weekend and is it then £10 per day?
If Im being really stupid here please delete this

Philip,

Its £25 for the whole weekend and £10 for the Sunday only. Some of us will be going on the Sunday in place of the monthly meeting.

Have been to Lavenham the last two years, lots of nice old cars. Last year I joined the PH stand. Put me down for this year and I will check out the other dates. TVR Tasmin 200.

Sounds like some good days out, although i'll probably just turn up on the day and park in the public area, I doubt my car is exotic enough for the show!!

You're welcome to turn up at the RV and tag on the back of the convoy?
