Ashby St Mary. Yourself?
In the fields around Ditchingham.Lots of sharp s bends and flowing flicks. Just head down to 141 from the roundabout with the BP garage on and you come to a small roundabout where you can go right down the really long straight road. Turn left into chatteris and take the next right turning. You go through the town a little bit but once you leave it behind.....YES! Its the closest road ove found to the ones im use to in the Welsh valleys.
That's why Pirelli are standard fit on Fiat. Gave Kim a call the other day for nostalgia sake, she married the next guy who came along, has two kids and cheats on her husbands at every opportunity possible because he's a tw@.
Talk about lucky escape.
Anyway, whenever I work in Peterborough I use a back road from the A16 pass the Thorny Golf club (look out for Audi's, 4x4s and Audi 4x4s they don't look when they pull out and if you hit them it's always your fault) through some weird named villages you get in the far south of Lincolnshire and ends at Wisbeach. Then another back road from Wisbeach to the A17. Avoiding the A47 completely and has bends that are very interesting. Some steep drops and a single lane bridge that whatever direction you are coming from you don't have right of way. Oh and there are a couple of tools using this road, one in a black BMW X5 (Mr Average sits at 45 in the 60 zones and then accelorates when you try to overtake and sits on your back bumber when you do get passed) and a silver Porsche 911 Gt3 (who loves to lose it overtaking on the outside of a bend and then tries blame you for following the speed limit, this guy also has no insurance, daddys car).

if your heading north up the A1 turn off at biggleswade and follow B1040 up to thorney a good little detour may take longer but you'll enjoy it. West of peterborough has lots of great twisty roads Also a lovely twisty section between parson drove and gedney hill way to short tho and a part goes through a village which although the speed limit is still 60 you'd be a tt to do that. another good road is from the A1 at langford heading through Dunton towards cambridge tho gets dull after bassingbourn awsome bend just before you get to wrestlingworth a big dip into a vally with a tight right left then fly up the hill the other side
