But dvla doesn't come back with anything like that pn the number plate

between Newmarket and Bury on the A14, 6th August, around 4pm a black car on a trailer. Looked like a cross between a Citroen DS and one of those weird Saabs that went rallying - very hunched/beetleesq shape, only MUCH bigger. Was same size as the pickup towing it. It was also on the trailer facing backwards, possibly indicating that it is rear engined? Had a split rear windscreen. Wasn't a natural beauty like some classics... a bit fugly really. Just never seen anything like it. (Wasn't the black Rover P5 that was on a trailer about 5 mins behind it!)

Also saw one of those weird old Saabs in Waterbeach, nnd an Opel GT (looks a bit like a Ferrari Daytona at the front and an Alpine at teh back, only better than both. Never seen one of those before either!

Spotted an Amphicar down the Avenues, Wroxham. Sporting a load of weeds hanging off its bottom so evidently taken a dip in Wroxham broad before driving home!

Mrs M is right, it was a friend of mine, we managed to get 7 Prowlers from around the country to meet up.
