Karting Meet in Cambs Anyone?

I was just pondering along the lines of my usual desire for motor vehicles and speed (safe speed, of course), and wondered whether there would be any interest in doing a meet at a karting track?

The idea I came up with would involve a bit of karting (to get the blood pumping) and some dribbling over a few petrol powered beauties (cars to the general public)?

I was going on the idea of using the Kartsport track at Caxton (although obviously that would depend the venue's willingness to let us congregate there). There's a large car park there so stabling the horses shouldn't be a problem.

So is anyone interested? If there's enough desire I'll sound out Kartsport and see what our chances are.

I should think so. Don't know what restrictions Kartsport have about age of racers but I'll investigate (cue pink panther music).

Drove on the A11 and saw the new Karting track at Red Lodge looks good also more central than anywhere else.

Wild tracks...

It has indoor and outdoor Kart tracks and offroad buggies, quads and all kinds of other mudplugging.

Never been, so have no idea of cost, but must be worth an investigate!

Speaking of Karting, a mate has just given me a call asking if I can find an extra driver or two for an endurance karting session at Caxton tomorrow (Sat 21st), meeting at 12.30.

Anyone interested?

I've been to wild trax. the karting track is good, but not very big.
