Inaugural Auckland Pistonheads Meet?
Discussion
I don't see why not, esp since your bringing very decent vehicles It depends how many numbers they got, which I don't know yet. But if you are keen for a hoon esp for the later sessions, you will need to turn up at 9am to sign the indemnity forms etc. I think you will also have to pay $70.00 for a non club member. If your cars are race cars with log books, I think you can come along for free to offer rides at the end of the sessions. Last year I hooked a ride in a big old racing jag, was quite an experience
Oh you have to bring a helmet if you are passenger in a race car too.
If you want to do the whole day, let me know and I will email you the forms for you to fill in and send off. This will secure your place and give you more info. Its probably not too late.
Cheers

This all sounds awesome - look forward to seeing everyone there
I'm more than happy to take anyone for a ride in the faster stages - depending on what my family also want & whether the Capri is ready. But - you might want to reconsider that after my last outing at Pukekohe in the rallysprint. Damm it - no photos up yet from the track photographer - but they should be up soon. I can't wait to see what I actually did - as opposed to what I think I did
But if the Capri not ready - I will bring the Chimaera out anyway

venom500: Are you flying more or less directly into dunedin? If you've got a stopover in Auckland for a few hours/days I'd be more than happy to meet up for a pint if you like and if you need someone to show ya around/help you find your feet then I'm only too happy to help.
Your going to love Dunedin, it has some lovely spots and skiing is only a few hours drive since you mentioned the skis. Its pretty chilly down there at the moment with plenty of snow around. But am sure all will be great when you get there.
Keep in touch.
PS what line of work are you in, do you have anything lined up?

Bugger - driver training day full - so I won't be entered in that - just got news on this last night
Any suggestions?
PS Off to Nelson this afternoon, so will catch up Sunday / Monday
Bummer....What about for taking the capri in the last sessions? There cant be that many race cars turning up.
Come out anyway, as if someone cant make it you can fill their gap. If totally full hook a ride with George or me if I have no passengers or am sure there will be plenty of other offers too.
