The other half bought three Nissan Stageas 96 model wagons for his staff last yr and they go really well. We drove one of them around for two days to see what it was like as he was going to get another out for me. I kinda flagged it only cause it looked like an old Volvo from a distance.. thats how ugly they are. But one of his boys chipped his and whoo hooo!
Very reliable, but I think I will stick to something easier on the eye
I see what you mean, Kylie!
Hello again everyone, I've been in Welly for the past couple of weeks, and just got a 'net connection. Cold turkey from PH - not recommended
I've seen loads of turbo Subarus around, some good prices for the imports too, but not many VR4's. Is the non-turbo Galant/Legnum 2.5 any good? Those XR8/XR6 turbos look like fun too, but a bit pricey.
I'll probably go for the Scoob though, whilst keeping an eye out for a nice 944.
Just bought a car for the wife - VW Passat 2.8 V6. That shifts a bit for a big car!
It’s on the road that runs parallel to the highway and joins on a slip road. I cant remember the name of the road itself but if you drive up Bolcott street and over the overbridge that leads over the highway it’s along their somewhere. Fancy they have a few old 911’s out front at the moment but I’m sure if you gave them a call they could rustle up something in the way of a 944.
There may also be a place on the Hutt road in Petone that could find you one (Loads of car dealerships down that way).

Hmmm.... I've not been back home for 3+ years but IIRC is that the Power Haus on Tinakori Road? Specialises in teutonic porkine exotica. Enjoy Welly - it's a great little town!

Cheers for that speedy. Funny enough, the first two weeks I was here, I stayed in an apartment on Boulcott Street (sp?), so I reckon I know where you mean.
I'll check out Hutt Valley as well, thanks for the tip
There are some car dealerships towards Porirua and Tawa but that’s really the very cheap end of living in Wellington (i.e. as I’m sure you have noticed it’s a bit of a dump) so I doubt they would have something as refined as a Porsche.

There are a couple of apartment blocks, one just next to the underground car park, and another across the street. You wouldn't notice them unless you knew they were there, TBH.
VERY convenient location, but the local rice-rockets use it as a racetrack most nights. The sound of a high-revving engine bouncing off the rev limiter through a 6-inch exhaust just metres from my bedroom window at 4am was starting to affect my sanity!
