Hi Swiss friends, does anyone know what became of "my" Taimar ? I bought the car in 1978 when I was living in the Zurich area, collected it from the factory in Blackpool and drove it straight to Switzerland. I sold the car in 1983 when I moved to Belgium, bought it back a few years later when I was again living in England and had it restored, then sold it on again. The last I heard it was in Geneva around a decade ago when it had been restored a second time. Chassis number 4319FM, lovely car. Any help appreciated, for old time's sake.

Thanks for those links, brings back so many memories. Isn't that just the best-ever colour combination, I specified Ford Black Cherry, which I later also chose for a new S.

To be very critical, a way to tell if an M series has had a respray is how the "model band" is done at the front, the factory did not make it parallel but tapered it down at the front side indicators, which virtually nobody gets right.

And given it is such a great car, where is it now ???

Oh and here's a pic of my daughter (now almost 40) "modelling" the rocker covers that I had chrome-plated and added the TVR badges. Note too how the model band originally wrapped around under the tailgate.
