Perfect day huge fun - big thanks to all that put the show togther - nice job.
I'd be happy to pitch in a few $$$ to get those who organised a bottle of something ? anyone else want to join this little collection ??
As for pictures/movies of the day - lets see them - please !!! never got a chance to take the camera out all day.
Time for a few rums and bed, then dream of all the next mods - sticky tyres, shift light, better brakes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ maybe a Lambo would work out cheaper ?

Yes heaps of fun, great day, great people, big grin,, excellent organisation.I'd be a starter to show my appreciation,so how do we do it?
Not sure, but i know they are all fond of a wee wine every now and then, so not sure on how many we would need, but would be good to do something for them.
Anyone got connections in the wine industry - I know i should own the odd winery by now !! more like liver transplant though.....
So many to cover but i think the Lotus guys are starters so thats 3 bottles, then ???

Dean... sounds like a good idea... I'm happy to spring for a couple of decent bottles of Hawkes Bay's finest, my missus is quite the wine drinker so I'll tap her for advice. Does anyone know the contact details of the lady or the club who is in charge of all the marshalls out there? I'd like to just send them an e-mail thanking them for their services through the day... the flag-marshalls were spot-on throughout the day and having them there was a big reassurance that help would be at-hand if we got things wrong.
Oh and Bruce / lawrence1 ... didn't catch up with you on the day... you didn't stick around til the end, hope everything went alright.

Bruce, nice to catch up with you, hope all went well and you had a blast out there on Saturday. I heard that the marshals were the same crowed that did the V8 supercars..? Had a chat to some of them, hard case chaps alright. Heading along to committe meetimg tonight so will try to find out details.

That'd be good Kylie... you can pass on my personal thanks to anyone who was involved in the organisation of the day... still on a severe high from it!
The Committee meeting was canned till next week which I will be away. But usually Geoff Sparkes does most of the organising to make this happen, it breaks down with Ken Woodburn doing the scrutineering and helpers with. Also the accounts which were handled by the committee. So you could direct any thanks to the President and the Committee. Arrh dam just give the wine to me ;-)
Just thought I'd let you know... I dropped a couple of nice bottles of Chardonnay off to Ken today to share between himself and Geoff, told him it was on behalf of the PistonHeads group who attended the sprints day.... namely Dean, Mark and myself. He was most appreciative
Cheers,
George.
