The receiving agent was :
CMA CGM Owens Shipping
71-79 Customs Street East
Auckland, New Zealand
Tel. +64 9 300 5870
www.cma-cgm.com/
The actual ship was P&O Nedlloyd :
www.ponl.com/
At the time I could track the container on their sites using the container reg number. (I think this has been disabled due to terrorism issues).
I can't find the documentation of the shipping (sending) agent but this was arranged by Simon Westwood who is the Sales Manager @ Westfield :

momentum grows -- now have 1 container (6 cars) who are wanting to come....
we'll do round-the-world flights, and stop over somewhere coming & going.....business class
so when i fly though Auckland in a couple of weeks, will grab a set of detailed road maps so i can start asking more questions!!

having been one of the folks at the loading for USA2005, there's two scenarios that work for loading 6 Se7ens in a 40 ft:
1) you drive one onto front wheel ramps, and jack the rear end up 4 feet in the air and brace it. then you drive the next one in and repeat until you fill the container. easily fit 6 SEights or SV's.
2) you put in a flat "1st floor" and alternate long and short Se7ens on the two floors. easily fit 6 SEights or SV's.
Job Done
90% of the cost for shipping a 40 ft container are all about *the container* -- the remaining 10% is insurance, loading, and dreyage/port handling fees. given the cost of renting a container, this isn't RocketScience(tm) but actual reality
Pie and a eh, you betcha!!!

so guys, how about how to best ship from Sydney to NZ? i am about to be tranfered to Sydney for 4 years, so i will have a couple of Oz
drivers and i coming over, 10 cars have signed up as definite from the EU, and 4 from the USA.
starting to work on logistics on a massive scale, so my relocation to Sydney due to work will make it a bit more challenging for the EU folks, but easier for us.

I have discovered that the RO/RO is just beside my soon-to-be-office in Sydney, so that will make a recce trip mandatory. seems a week or so blatting the southern island later this year is a doer. I have heard from several folks on Ozcclubbies.com about what gymnastics I get to go through with the NSW RTA to get our car licensed, etc.
Question: if you are RO/RO from Oz <-> NZ we don't have to get a permit to be in NZ for 3 weeks in 2008, right?
I also have help now with 2 of the USA2005 drivers who will be coordinating things from the EU once we are relocated to Sydney.
