I'd email Photochromatic directly. It's his party.

You never know if someone's dropped out.

Does anyone have any spare capacity in a gas can? I was going to be bringing a 20L container down but I don't have access to it and I'd rather not be dragging an extra 40kg around the track with me for the first half of the day. Am happy buy petrol off you on the day if you've got it... alternatively I might go out to Repco etc tonight and pick a can up myself.

Hopefully, other than that I'm all set for tomorrow

I just went to Repco and bought a couple on special.... got 2x10L ones as I thought they'd fit in the Elise better, but they're about an inch too tall for the boot... BUGGER.... still, they fit in nicely when laying on their sides.... I'll have to test them tomorrow for watertightness... failing that, they both should fit in the passenger's footwell rather nicely

Oh, and just on this.... is anyone meeting up anywhere close to the city for a convoy down?

I might be bringing Ben (v15ben) along if I can get hold of him, although it'll be a tight squeeze for him I think, sharing the passenger's seat with 20L of fuel, oil and my race garb

I've got v15ben sorted.

He's staying very close to the Westie's Bat Cave

Heheh aah ok, Ben told me he was maybe getting a lift in with you. I might be going around to Richard's place tomorrow and heading down a bit early with him to help him set up and stuff so I guess I'll see you guys down there.

Hopefully the rain holds off so you can bring the westie and not the subie.... it's forecast for showers later in the daybut hopefully that means we get a morning's dry running or so.

You mean for petrol leaks, not air contaiminating the petrol?

The last track days I did was packing the spare oil and gas cans in a large plastic bag if your lying it on its side for room. Its not a good look to have petrol/oil spills in the car
