On the positive side there could be a nice engine and transaxle on the market for that Ultima build!

Given the demand for these cars I suspect they'll rebuild it - provided new chassis/shells are available from Ford.

I hope he didn't have a passenger.

I think there'd probably be more publicity about it if anyone had been hurt.

(now we just wait for the LTSA to try and use it as an excuse for lowering speedlimits )

The transaxle you can get for about US$14k, it's produced by Ricardo over here in the UK.

And it'll probably fit any small block Ford without to much hassle.

Now if only GM would put the engine in the right end of the car...

Just saw an almost identical spin on my way home this evening. A black Nissan 300zx against a lampole on the northbound slip road leading onto the M3 at Juntcion 1. The occupants looked ok and the police were there alog with asalvage truck.

Not anyone on here? I guess noone would really want to own up to that though...

Sorry to hear about the death of one of the Ultima guys....With this latest cold snap the raods are suddenly alot more slippy so take it easy and try and keep it in a straight line eh

hmmm an M3 ..... I'm more than happy to if someone provides the M3. that way you'll be able to remove the 'over 22' clause from your statement. so everybody wins
