If I hadn't brought the Saker and was looking this would be VERY tempting should it prove to have good history etc www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Porsche/auction-84127389.htm
My 965T was quick this would be AWESOME!

Hmmmm Anybody remember the accident where the Father and son from ABC (Auto Brake & Clutch)put Terry Siropesis's 965 into the armco on the WGTN motorway. "Apparently" they were road testing it after some complaints from the owner over the brakes and aqauplaned into the armo and the rest was history. Very similar looking cars... I remember seeing the shell at Powerhaus and the engine there as well on the floor.
These have been rated quite highly by many reputable drivers www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Specialist-cars/Competition-cars/auction-84299447.htm

The comments on the trademe auction include:
"Yes the car received accident damage here in New Zealand while being road tested after being serviced and has been professionally repaired to the highest standard with all new parts. The car was built by RUF Automobiles Singapore which I believe have a website, I have spoken with them confirming the history on the vehicle. It is registered with RUF and does come with a complete with a full documented service history."
So it may be the same car mentioned above, unless more than one 965 in NZ has been crashed by mechanics 'testing'. First I've heard of RUF Singapore though, I thought they did all major stuff in Germany, with agencies to do more minor modifications in USA and midle east (Dubai maybe?) I'm not any sort of expert on them though.

O.k that confirms what I thought and had heard through my contacts. I wanted to be careful as it's not fair on the seller if it isn't the same car. There aren't many 3.3 965 Turbo's in NZ less 3.6T's and only two RUF ones that I know of. That doesn't mean to say there's not more. You are correct in the fact that RUF modifies the cars in Germany with RUF vins and as you say they have authorised RUF tuners (non RUF vins) in USA etc but not many. I believe this is not a RUF vin car unlike the silver BTR one that used to reside in WGTN.

There's never any shortage of 7's for sale www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Other/auction-84513546.htm Looks tidy...shame about the rear tail lights. Looks like they're of my uncles trailer.

Like the other 965 listed the one above was accident damaged. Was put on it's lid somewhere in Auckland just after it was purchased from new IIRC. See past auction where he got busted fibbing www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Porsche/auction-77820996.htm. NZ just too smaller place to hide stuff like that.
A classic already and will only appreciate in value. I wonder what it will be worth in 10 years? www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=82907557

I don't know my Honda's all that well but this guy has had a few ex Hong Kong race cars for sale. The Yellow one he had listed before this one was a bit nicer and had a stack dash as well. www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Specialist-cars/Competition-cars/auction-84901408.htm
One of my staff brought a 98' Integra TypeR SpecR and I must say that it would be in the top5 rewarding cars I've driven. Very revvy as expected but with such a stiff and precise chassis and awesome brakes. Very much a drivers car. I've always been a RWD man but for a FWD it was loads of fun and quite rewarding. I was very impressed although all the writeups I had read pretty much backed up what I had felt. My employee is only 18 and was white and shaking after running the car down my road which is VERY tight and twisty. I told him the best mod for $1000 bucks was some driver training and not a monster tacho

This was for sale a while back and I had a good chat to the guy. Lots of work has gone into it and the build cost was huge.

Classic auction... must see!!! www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Helmets-clothing-footwear/Helmets/auction-86922120.htm
That's interesting as that car has been in Palmerston North for many years at a dealers on Rangitiki St. It wasn't the best model for him to have in stock and back then he was running TSW alloys on it which really downclassed it. I'm pretty sure they run differant rim sizes front and rear as well and that it is important as it is how the car was designed chassis wise etc. I'd love to drive a type R model as I've heard and seen that they are quite impressive on the track.

Not many of these about nsx
Local car dealer hit hard times and now selling it. Shame its an early auto model .

But here's a better NSX but a bit too pricey!
VERY nice. I've heard great things about them but that interior yells JAP IMPORT!
Question: how do you add a link but rename it as you have done with NSX?
Cheers
Yum yum yum... I would have been very tempted by this 8 months ago depending on the actual price for a pure track car...now how could I make it road legal

I rang the guy today as curiosity got the better of me. He wasn't set on a price but felt around $30K to be fair price. Asked my thoughts on pricing and he seems to be feeling out the market at the moment.
