Thanks George, I remember, Jim was chairman of TVRCC until he moved here.

Leyton, thanks too, I will give you a call.

If it doesn't happen I may have to get an MGF and put the change in the bank for when the head gasket blows. :-)

We meet up with him every month. The TVR club here's not an "official" club because there's too few members to really make it official. There's an Auckland group and a South-Island group (chch based)

I meet up with the Auckland group monthly and we have a chat and a cuppa and head out into the country somewhere for a drive. It's a great club because it's so informal and laid-back and I've made some great friends there. There's a national weekend coming up March/April next year in Taupo that will be gathering maybe up to 15 TVRs which will be a huge event considering how few there are in NZ.

I'll be there in the lotus

Hey George,

I look after the South Island group.

The 1st annual? TVR National Meet will be in Taupo on the 21st of April 2007. Kicking off with a dinner on the Friday night. Am working on trying to get a crew up from the deep south.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Aah Leyton... it all makes sense now I'm in the TVR club by virtue of having a Griff 500 engine sitting on my garage floor... it's sold though and will soon be moving to Nelson... still a TVR fan at heart though

Looking forward to the TVR meet, should be a bit of fun. If you've not met the NI group yet they're a nice bunch of people

National TVR meeting on 21st April. Hmm, that's a potential date for my sister's wedding in the UK. I did want to suggest she moved it to June so I could go to Le Mans on the same trip.

This requires a carefully worded text message.

She has a VX220 Turbo so she should be sympathetic, shouldn't she?
